The quilt is one of my doll quilts I made back in 2010 which I call Pumpkin Fields. It is so cheerful to see all the autumn shades in the evening when the lamp is on. Again I used another tiny quilt and a stitched pillow on the butler tray.
Our coffee corner in the garden has received an autumn touch with a Turkish turban gourd in my vase planter. Did you know that if you rub pumpkins and gourds with some salad (I used olive oil as that is all I have) oil that it will help it to stay fresh longer locking out moisture?

Happy weekend!

I think your candlestick lamp is the perfect size. I love your quilt. I can imagine how warm and welcoming it all looks at night when the lamp is glowing.
ReplyDeleteYour coffee corner is wonderful. What a nice spot to sit while enjoying the fresh air and beauty of the autumn season. I did not know that tip for the pumpkins/gourds. Thanks for sharing. I have put some gourds in amongst my flowerpots. On these warm days we've been having I'm thinking they may start to rot. I'm going to try oiling them up :).
Have a lovely weekend.
Need to go look for a new place where i can buy them (cheap...) Because zeeland is in the past, and to far away just for buying pumpkins and gourds.
ReplyDeleteWhat an odd shape that one has. It looks good in your
ReplyDeletecoffee corner which it is probably too cold for now. LOL
Your quilt wall and table look really good.
Love you, Mom
You have such a knack for decorating. I love all the autumnal touches you have brought into and outside of your home.
ReplyDeleteYes, the candlestick lamp is much better!
ReplyDeleteI love your Pumpkin Fields mini-quilt. Perfect for the season! I don't typically decorate for fall - though I should because we really don't see fall color here at all. I'll just be glad when it's cool enough to have the windows open!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall decorating. Your quilt is lovely!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty quilt! I do like the candlestick lamp much better.
