Christmas impressions.....

With these busy days upon us, here are a few impressions of our home at Christmas...




Today is the 200th anniversary of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales being published. My favorite is Little Red Riding Hood. When I was a little girl, I had a game I would play with my mother. I would go outside and ring the doorbell. My mother would answer and ask who was there. I would happily call out Little Red Riding Hood or another character. Since Little Red Riding Hood was my favorite, my mother sent me this beautiful picture a number of Christmas ago.


Thank you for your wishes for my getting better! I was back laying down yesterday all afternoon but am feeling much better again today.

    I always have loved Little Red Riding Hood too. Your house looks lovely all decorated for Christmas! Hope you are feeling better soon! Hugs from CA.

    I was never much a fan of fairy tales but I do like your Christmas decorations- especially the tree on the wall. I imagine it is cross stitch pillows?

    I am sure you were a very cute little red riding hood :)

    I have seen all your decorations first hand so I know they are all beautiful. I remember well when you continually rang the doorbell. hahaha. It took a long time for you to get tired of it. I probably bribed you with candy or cookies to get you to stop. lol
    Have a Wonderful Christmas at the cottage. Hopefully we will be able to chat there too.
