Jessie Willcox Smith moments...

This week has been about books...

...as we have been busy transforming a room in our house into a library. It has always been a dream of mine to have a library and since Jos does not like using his office room upstairs, it seemed the obvious choice. Funny thing is that now I have it half put together, he thinks he really like this room. I was planning on replacing his large table for a small antique one and putting a comfy chair in there with a light to read. Now I might have to rethink it all since he thinks he wants to keep his big desk (table) and use it as his office after all.

And they say women are fickle...  *wink*

"If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need."
- Marcus Tullius Cicero

Have a great weekend!
Heidi

Note: I will post photos of the library once it is finished...

  3. I hope you and Jos can figure out how to peacefully coexist in one room. I, for one, think every home needs a dedicated library!

  5. Yes, he is fickle, I bet the fad will not last. He thinks he has to be whee he can see you to work and up in the tower is not the place. Give it awhile, you'll see. LOL
    Love you, Mom
