Practice makes perfect.....

A piece I stitched years ago is the centrepiece of my display at my quilt wall in the living room. See the verse on the sampler?

Een geborduurde merklap is het middenpunt van mijn nieuwe hoekje in de woonkamer bij mijn quiltwand. Kijk goed naar de text.....

This was a quilt was the sample from a workshop I gave and it is still a favorite of mine.

Oorspronkelijk gemaakt voor een workshop toen ik les gaf deze quilt blijft een lievelings quilt van mij.

Practice makes perfect...oh so true!

Oefening baart kunst...helemaal waar!

  4. Those tiny flying geese are cute! Putting rows of them together like you have and keeping everything square and straight isn't near as easy as it looks. Very nice job!

    1. Believe it or not, most who took my classes found the traditional method the best way to keep then straight Jackie. When worked for our grandmothers works best!

  5. I always liked that quilt too but you have so many great ones, no one could say one is better then the other. My favorite now is the heart you made for me. It is right here so I can see it everyday.
    Love you, Mom
